IAF recently launched a global database for accredited management system certifications, providing the ability to digitally validate an organization’s certification to determine if a certificate is valid and issued by an accredited Certification Body in that Standard. The database includes over 400,000 certificates across more than 150 economies crossing sectors and continues to grow as additional Certification Bodies upload their certificate data.
While it is not mandatory for a Certification Body to upload the certificates in most standards, it is encouraged. The database is intended to help organizations validate that organizations in their supply chains meet the required management system standards. In addition through the CertSearch Marketplace, organizations can find additional certified suppliers that provide the products and services they need.
